Bugbite

My senior thesis, Bugbite, was created to normalize eating bugs for young adults in the U.S. While eating insects is a cherished tradition in regions of Asia, Africa, and Latin America, many individuals in the U.S. would recoil at the thought. Bugbite addresses this by incorporating cricket flour into familiar Gen Z snacks and adopting a vibrant and friendly approach. Beyond the brand’s dynamic color schemes, inventive typography, and friendly insects, I designed Bugbite as a way to expand our understanding of food and its impact on the planet—one bite at a time.
